Winter 2015 Still blanketed in white. Despite the weather, Dr Vouras and staff attended the Yankee Dental Congress held annually in Boston at the BCEC. We are looking forward to Yankee 2016, when Dr Vouras will be the General Chairperson. New for 2015, Massachusetts now requires all Dental Assistants to be licensed by the Board of Registration in Dentistry for Mass. Cheryl, Karen and Jane met all the requirements and have completed the protocol and are now Registered Dental Assistants in the state of Massachusetts. Looking forward to the snow melting and the arrival of Spring!!
SPRING 2014 - Over the winter we installed a new Digital Panoramic x-ray Machine. This will allow us to view wisdom teeth, aide in the diagnosis of jaw joint problems among other diagnostic uses. We have been successfully using the new digital x-ray system for check up x-rays now since Oct 2012. It has proven to be an excellent educational tool for our patients, with instant results and hands on viewing.
