We also work closely with several excellent specialists in the area that take care of our patients who need specialized treatment.  We are involved in every aspect of your overall Dental care as it relates to your overall health.

Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, oral cancer screening, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Also, it includes a thorough review of your medical history and medications. We will also take x-rays, which includes a complete set of x-rays for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Digital Imaging

Digital imaging  is now in full use at the office including a digital panoramic unit.  The quality of the x-ray images improved, and it greatly reduces the amount of radiation necessary to produce the dental image.   It also allows for instant viewing and speeds the diagnosis process.  This is another step toward “Going Green” with the eventual goal over the next several years of going to paperless records.

Toothaches
Simple toothaches can often be relieved by rinsing the mouth to clear it of debris and other matter.
